We are headed outside the United States this weekend. El Cardonal in Cabo San Lucas will be the host this week. This Tiger Woods design has many rolling hills, as well as wide fairways to hit. There should be MANY birdies this week, and whoever has the hottest putter should do well. This is a par 72 with a lot of talented golfers looking to make a name for themselves this week. The defending champion, Austin Eckroat, is back, as well as Wyndham Clark, Ben Griffin, and JJ Spaun.

Patton Kizzire is a guy who’s been trying to make a name for himself for years now. He’s popped up early on leaderboards, but as of late, there hasn’t been much success. He’s only made 7 of his last 24 cuts, and there have been no signs to show anything is going to change. Look for Patton to miss the cut this week!

This might not be a name you’re familiar with, but he’s coming off a top three finish at the Bank Of Utah Championship, so that should let us know he’s coming in with some good form. Justin Lower gained strokes in every category In Utah, and if that trend can continue this weekend, he should flash on the leaderboard!

Emiliano Grillo is a guy that’s won on the PGA Tour before, so he knows what it takes to get it done. Emiliano is known for his ball striking! He’s the guy that will hit fairways and greens all day, but will he be able to make enough putts to close the deal? He actually gained over two strokes with the putter, according to Data Golf, in his last event, but lost strokes on approach. If he flips that around, I expect him to be in the hunt!

This man is due for a WIN! It’s hard to overlook how well Rico Hoey has played in his last couple of events. He’s had two top 5s, and has seemed to really find his form going into this weekend. According to Data Golf, Rico has been crushing it off the tee and stokes gained on approach. If this trend continues into this weekend, you can once again expect to see his name on the very TOP!
