The Butterfield Bermuda Championship is being played at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda. It’s a par 71 and a Robert Trent Jones design. The 6,900 yard layout may not be long, but it can be challenging because of the wind off the water and many challenging bunkers. Players will need to be accurate if they want to chase their first victory. The big names won’t be here this weekend, but none the less, these guys can play. Rafael Campos is your defending champion, and Rico Hoey is considered one of the odds on favorites!

Brandt Snedeker was once a big name on Tour, but has fallen off over the last few years. He just missed the cut last week, and I expect the same result this weekend!

You may not know this name, but he’s popped up on leaderboards and played in many majors throughout his career. Takumi Kanaya recently had a top 5 back in October, and I think this could be his time to sneak back up on a leaderboard. Lately, according to Data Golf, he’s been losing strokes on approach and off the tee. If he can turn this around, then he should be in the hunt!

Rico Hoey is the odds on favorite this weekend, and somebody I expect to continue to play well. He’s had a T21 and multiple top 5s of late. He’s been gaining strokes in most categories, and with his consistent play, how can we not pick him for a top 10?

One of the best names on tour has quietly been playing some good golf as of late. Pierceson Coody’s made five of his last six cuts and has had three top 15s in that stretch. According to Data Golf, his off the tee game has been exceptional when it comes to gaining strokes. If his putter wakes up, then I expect him to have a chance at the win!!
