2021 Ally 400 Race Predictions

The NASCAR Cup Series continues today with the 2021 Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. Read on below to see my prediction for who will win the race, as well as my top 10, dark horse, and driver to fade predictions.

Winner: Kyle Busch- Busch has been a master on mile and a half tracks this year, with a win and 3 top 5’s thus far. This track may be only 1.33 miles, but will race similarly to a mile and half style track. Busch is coming off of a win in yesterday’s Xfinity Race and I expect that to translate well in today’s race, which is why I expect Busch to bring home the victory today!

Top 10: Kyle Larson- Larson has been the man to beat the past few weeks, as he is coming off of 3 straight wins, including a victory in the All-Star Race, and has finished no worse than 2nd in his last 6 starts. Larson showed speed in practice and qualifying and is a threat to win any time he shows up to the track. A top 10 is a lock today.

DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA – FEBRUARY 10: Ryan Preece, driver of the #37 Cottonelle Chevrolet, drives during practice for the NASCAR Cup Series 63rd Annual Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 10, 2021 in Daytona Beach, Florida. (Photo by Jared C. Tilton/Getty Images)

Dark horse: Ryan Preece- Preece has quietly been having one of his best seasons to date, with 7 top 20’s in 16 starts. Preece has momentum from his victory in the Truck Series here on Friday night and I believe a top 15 is within his reach today.

Driver to fade: Kurt Busch- Busch has struggled this season, with just 3 top 10 finishes so far. Busch has also struggled on mile and a half tracks this season, with a best finish of 15th. Pair that with a starting position of 30th and I predict Kurt Busch to finish outside the top 20 today.
