The PGA Tour carries on this week with the 2021 Wells Fargo Championship. Read on to see guest predictor Kevin Stryker’s prediction for who will win the tournament, as well as his top 10, dark horse, and player to fade predictions.
Winner: Justin Thomas- JT comes in to this event with five Top 10 finishes in the 2020-21 season, including a victory in the PLAYERS Championship. Quail Hollow hasn’t seen him play there since 2018, when he finished 21st. His fantastic play this season, though, will see him contend in this event, and a win is within his grasp.
Top 10: Corey Conners- It’s always a good idea to go with the hot hand. As this site’s founder and chief boss man Walker Polivka pointed out last week, Conners has been playing some outstanding golf over the past several events. A Top-10 finish this week is certainly within his reach.

Dark Horse: Joel Dahmen- Perhaps Dahmen shouldn’t be considered a Dark Horse pick, as he finished 2nd in this event during its most recent playing in 2019. The combination of his poor play in recent weeks, coupled with his lack of fame, does, however, lend credence to his selection as this week’s Dark Horse. Dahmen should be able to attain a Top-20 finish this week, but if he doesn’t, don’t hold me responsible.
Player to Fade: Davis Love III- Does anyone think he’ll make the cut this week? I doubt it. Davis will be packing his gear up after his Friday round.
