“Weep no more my lady.
Oh! Weep no more today!
We will sing one song
For my old Kentucky home
For the old Kentucky home, far away.”
Stephen Foster’s timeless classic sets the stage for this week’s PGA Tour stop at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, KY, for the ISCO Championship.

In typical fashion, I’ll fade a player that I’ve never heard of. Rico Hoey has missed the cut in ten of seventeen events he’s competed in on Tour this season, and I predict this weekend will be no different.

John Marshall Butler just ended an impressive career at Auburn University which saw him contribute to his team’s winning appearance at the 2024 NCAA Men’s Team Championship. I’m not going to overlook a player with strong Kentucky roots this weekend, even if this is his first PGA TOUR tournament.

Carson Young just had his best finish on the season thus far at the John Deere, finishing tied for fifth. In this field of relative unknowns, I think a hot hand like Young has a great shot at a strong finish. Give me Young for a Top Ten this weekend!

The field is wide open this week at Keene Trace, with most of the TOUR’s bigger names competing in the Genesis Scottish Open. Who better to come out on top than Michael Thorbjornsen? He finished tied for second last week at the John Deere, and has shown tremendous improvement from his first two tournaments this season. We predict Thorbjornsen will come out on top this weekend!
