NASCAR is back and under the lights this week at Richmond! Nothing beats a warm summer evening with some electrifying, playoff-push NASCAR action.

I hope Parker Retzlaff at least gets some delicious food from Cook Out for showing up on Sunday.

Sitting at 22nd in the points standings, Josh Berry is going to have to gain some ground if he wants to find himself in the playoffs. What better place to do that than Richmond? In five short-track races since 2023, Berry has an average finish of 11th place. If he could have a similar or better finish this weekend, that would be quite the boost for his playoff chances.

Kyle Larson leads the points standings for a reason, folks. With four top-10 finishes at Richmond over the past few seasons, and the incredible success he’s attained this season, it would be a stunner if Larson didn’t finish in the Top 10 on Sunday night.

Denny Hamlin and Richmond go together like a chili dog and onion rings from Cook Out. It is a no-brainer to take Hamlin to win on Sunday, as he’s already won at Richmond this season and is a native son of Virginia. Plus, he has the highest average finish at the track over the past four seasons. Look for the FedEx #11 car in Victory Lane!
