The PGA Tour continues on this week as it visits TPC Craig Ranch for the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson. Designed by the late Tom Weiskopf, TPC Craig Ranch has proven to be one of the most scoreable layouts on tour, with two-time defending champion K. H. Lee finishing at -25 and -26 in his two victories here. Featuring some very gettable bentgrass greens, TPC Craig Ranch will play as a Par 71, 7,414 yard layout this week. Last year’s edition was won by K. H. Lee, who fired a final round 63 to beat Jordan Spieth by one stroke and take home the title here for the second consecutive year.
Player to Fade:

Hideki Matsuyama is struggling with his game overall. We don’t really know where he is health wise and if he has to sacrifice this event to play next week at Oak Hill, he definitely would. A neck injury doesn’t seem like something he wants to just push through. Hideki is usually on point, but it doesn’t look promising this week.
Dark Horse:

Tom Hoge has the ability to get his putter rolling and really stand out in the field. If he can start the tournament with a good opening round, he should be able to fight his way up the leaderboard. He hasn’t done a lot since The Players in March, so he is due to play well. Would love to see him make a run for it!
Top 10:

Adam Scott’s game is in great shape and all he has to focus on is his irons. We saw him start to turn around his ball striking last week at the Wells Fargo and we started to feel the old Adam Scott game again. He is too good to not be in the top 10 this week at TPC Craig Ranch.
Winner:

Tyrell Hatton is coming into this event off a T-3. He is playing great golf right now. Hatton has a great iron game and he seems to always stay calm on the course. He has to keep the momentum and use it to his advantage to secure the win.
