2023 Farmers Insurance Open Predictions

The PGA Tour continues on this week as it visits Torrey Pines for the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open. For the second straight year, the tournament will begin on a Wednesday and conclude on a Saturday in order to accommodate the AFC Championship game being aired on CBS on Sunday. Last year’s edition was won by Luke List, who came from 5 strokes back on the final day to defeat Will Zalatoris for his first PGA Tour victory.

Robby Shelton has five, yes, five, Top 25 finishes so far this season. He also has finished within the Top 20 in previous appearances in the Farmers. No reason to think he can’t repeat his past performances this week.

Playing like he’s on another planet at this moment, Jon Rahm will cruise to a Top 10 finish this week. There’s a real shot that Rahm is the best player on the PGA Tour right now.

Collin Morikawa is one of the bigger names in the field this week and is coming off of two weeks rest. He has fared well at Torrey Pines in the past, having a strong finish to the 2021 U.S. Open held at TP. Collin will come out firing on all cylinders this week and will take the Farmers, although not without a challenge.
