The PGA Tour continues this week as it visits Austin Country Club for the 2022 World Golf Championships – Dell Technologies Match Play. Read on below to see guest predictor Amanda Cencer’s prediction for who will win the tournament, as well as her predictions for who will finish in the top 10, her dark horse, and her player to fade.
Winner: Jon Rahm- Rahm is a force to be reckoned with and he has the mentality for competitive match play. One of the key elements of match play is to stay aggressive while remaining consistent. His overall performance for ball striking is destined to pay off at this event.
Top 10: Bryson DeChambeau- This is Bryson’s bread and butter. He has built a game and a mentality that suits up well for match play. He definitely has the consistency, as well as the ability, to over power his opponent. He isn’t someone we ever believe to fall far from the top. Match play requires risk and reward to come out on top and that’s Bryson’s entire game.

Dark Horse: Tom Hoge- Tom isn’t a big name, but he has some of the best ball striking. While this event offers a unique format, he might just have what it takes to impress us all.
Player to Fade: Scottie Scheffler- Scheffler is a great player, but he has a different approach right now. Match play and needing to beat your opponent rather that beat the course is definitely a different feel for him. While he is a favorite, I don’t see him doing a whole lot this week.
