2021 RBC Heritage Predictions

The PGA Tour moves to South Carolina this week for the RBC Heritage. Read on to see my prediction for who will win the tournament, as well as my top 10, dark horse, and player to fade predictions.

Winner: Webb Simpson- Simpson has played well at Hilton Head in his career, with 6 top 15’s in 11 starts, including 3 top 5’s and a win last year. Simpson has finished in the top 20 in 8 of his last 12 starts and is due for a win, which is why Webb Simpson will successfully defend his title this week.

Top 10: Will Zalatoris-Some picks are a no brainer. Zalatoris is a threat to win any time, any where. Although a rookie in this event, Zalatoris has finished in the top 20 in 9 of his last 15 starts, including a runner finish at The Masters. A top 10 seems like a lock at this point.

Dark horse: Ian Poulter- Poulter has played some of his most consistent golf at Hilton Head, with 5 top 20 finishes in 10 starts and 0 missed cuts. A made cut is almost certain, but I believe a top 20 finish is within reach for Poulter this week.

Player to fade: Hunter Mahan- Mahan is about as cold as you can get, missing 9 cuts in a row and missing 11 of his last 12. In 4 starts in this event, he has missed the cut twice with his best finish being T-44. Stay far away from Mahan this week, as another missed cut is in the cards.
