2021 Dixie Vodka 400 Race Predictions

The NASCAR Cup Series continues its swing through Florida with a stop at Homestead-Miami Speedway today for the 2021 Dixie Vodka 400. Read on below to see my prediction for who will win the race, as well as my top 10, dark horse, and driver to avoid predictions.

Winner: Kyle Busch- Busch has raced well at Homestead-Miami Speedway of late, winning twice and finishing in the top 10 8 times over his last 9 starts. Busch has led laps in each of his last 6 races here and has finished no worse than 6th during that stretch. Busch has had a rough start to the season so far, but I believe he will right the ship and steer the 18 into victory lane today.

Top 10: Kevin Harvick- It’s hard to pick against Harvick on any given Sunday, but Homestead-Miami is one of Harvick’s most consistent tracks on the schedule. In 20 career starts, he has 17 top 10’s to go alongside 1 victory here. Harvick is a consistent front runner at Honestead-Miami and I see no reason for that to change today. Harvick is a lock for another top 10 finish.

Dark horse: Tyler Reddick- Reddick loves to run high and tight against the wall, which is a huge asset when racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Reddick has raced extremely well here in his career too, winning twice in the Xfinity Series and finishing 4th in his lone Cup Series start here last season. I believe Reddick will be able to lock in for another top 10 finish today, but don’t be surprised if he’s running in the top 5 during the closing laps.

Driver to fade: William Byron- Byron hasn’t had much luck here in his Cup Series career, finishing in the top 20 only once in 3 career starts. Byron will start outside the top 30 today, which makes his drive to the front much more difficult. Byron is due to improve based on his talent, but I don’t see him finishing much better than 15th at day’s end.
