2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Predictions

The PGA Tour returns to California this week for the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Read on below to see my prediction for who will win the tournament, as well as my top 10, dark horse, and player to avoid predictions.

Winner: Paul Casey- Casey has had the hot hand of late, finishing in the top 12 in each of his last 3 worldwide starts, including a victory at the Dubai Desert Classic. Casey has also played well in this event in past years, with 2 top 10 finishes in his last 3 starts, including a runner up result in 2019. In my eyes, all of this points to a victory for Paul Casey this week.

Top 10: Daniel Berger- Even though he is coming off a rare missed cut, Berger has made each of his other 6 cuts this year. Berger had 2 top 10 results leading up to that missed cut and has also had success in this event, finishing in the top 10 in both of his previous starts here. I believe Berger will right the ship this week and grab another top 10 finish.

Dark horse: Matt Jones- Jones has quietly been having a stellar year, with 5 top 30 finishes and only 2 missed cuts in 11 starts. Jones has also played well at this event throughout the years, with 6 top 25 finishes and only 2 missed cuts in 13 starts. I picked Jones as my dark horse two weeks ago at the Farmers Insurance Open and I truly believe Jones is primed for another stellar week. A top 25 finish is easily within reach.

Player to fade: Rickie Fowler- Fowler has  struggled this season, with a best finish of 21st to go along with 2 missed cuts in 8 starts. Pebble Beach will expose the flaws in your game if you aren’t playing your best and Fowler’s game has been far from great as of late. If Fowler finds a way to make the cut, he will be lucky to crack the top 50.
