Player to Fade: John Daly- Why not? I don’t see Daly keeping up with the young guns this week. It pains me to fade him, but it makes too much sense.

Dark Horse: Garrick Higgo- Higgo has a third place finish already this season, and there’s no reason he can’t contend this week. A past winner on the Tour, Higgo should be able to finish within the top 20 this week. We’ll see how he handles the winds.

Top 10: Russell Knox- Knox has performed strongly in past events at Port Royal, finishing tied for 16th or better. He has a couple of top 25 finishes on the young season, and I predict he’ll have a strong finish this week.

Winner: Nick Hardy- This is a wide-open field this week, a real “Who? Who?” of PGA Tour talent.  It’s the perfect time for a first career victory for Hardy. After finishing tied for 5th at the Sanderson Farms Championship, Hardy should find himself among the contenders this week at Port Royal. He currently ranks 7th in Strokes Gained: Approach the Green, and has made the cut in all 3 events he’s competed in during this young season.
