The PGA Tour picks back up this week as it visits the Plantation Course at Kapalua for the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions. Read on below to see my prediction for who will win the tournament, as well as my predictions for who will finish in the top 10, my dark horse, and my player to fade.

Winner: Collin Morikawa- Coming off a victory at the DP World Tour Championship, Morikawa brings solid form into 2022, finishing in the top 10 in each of his last 4 worldwide starts. Morikawa has had past success at the Plantation Course at Kapalua, finishing T-7 in each of his two starts here. Morikawa is going to start off 2022 with a bang by winning the Sentry Tournament of Champions!

Top 10: Sam Burns- Winner of the Sanderson Farms Championship, Burns has started off the wrap-around season in style, with a win, 3 top 10’s, and 4 top 15’s in 4 starts, as well as a T-3 finish at the Hero World Challenge and a T-2 finish at the QBE Shootout. Burns is making his debut in this tournament, but his razor sharp play over the past year has quickly proven that he can contend with all of the heavy hitters on tour. Burns is a lock for a top 10 showing this week.

Dark Horse: Seamus Power- Winner of the Barbasol Championship, Power has been in the midst of some of his best play ever over the past 8 months, with a win, 5 top 10’s, and 9 top 20’s in his last 14 PGA Tour starts. A rookie in this event, I expect Power to hold his own against the best players in the world and bring home a solid top 20 finish this week.

Player to Fade: Garrick Higgo- Winner of the Palmetto Championship, Higgo has struggled, missing the cut in 8 of his 16 worldwide starts since then with a best of finish of T-21 during that stretch. In a limited field event with 38 players, Higgo is a lock to finish outside the top 20.
